Browning Hi Power Drop In Trigger Pull Sets
The Cylinder & Slide Browning Hi Power Hammers and Sears are CNC Wire EDM cut from Billet Alloy Steel Plate Stock, finish machined on a CNC machining center, and heat treated to RC 50-54 completely through the part. The tolerances held are +-.0005?. All parts are 100% inspected and checked for proper hardness. Each part will have the dimple made by the diamond point on the Rockwell Testing Machine and there will be a certification sheet showing the exact hardness with each part.
The stock Browning Hi Power sear is an investment cast part. This is fine for stock use. However, the cast sear is not hard enough to last when a trigger job is done and they tend to begin to wear in stock form after 3000 to 4000 rounds. The Cylinder & Slide hammer and sear trigger pull sets will last indefinitely. The Cylinder & Slide Target Spring Trigger Pull Set will reduce the stock trigger pull approximately 3 to 4 lb. The Cylinder & Slide Duty Carry Trigger Pull Set will reduce the stock trigger pull approximately 2 lb. The actual reduction in trigger pull will vary from pistol to pistol due to the manufacturing tolerances in the pistols. The Cylinder & Slide Trigger Pull Sets will give you the perfect parts platform to have a professional trigger job done on. The Browning Hi Power is a very difficult pistol to do a trigger job on due to the mechanical linkage required to transfer the trigger motion to the sear. We highly recommend that you do not attempt to lighten the trigger pull further than our kits provide unless you have a professional pistolsmith who really knows how to do a trigger job on a Browning Hi Power do it. Our limited lifetime warranty on our parts is voided if they are improperly modified or installed. The MKIII Browning Hi Power requires the use of our Improved Sear Lever to safely reduce the trigger pull below 5.5 lb.
