Please read this entire section! Now you can build your dream gun using our online store. Just add the custom work you would like to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. If you decide not to order at this time, your items will remain in your cart for a period of 5 days. In the checkout process, you will be prompted to enter a deposit code. That deposit code will reflect the amount due for the deposit. This is the deposit on the work that will generate a work order in our shop. If you would like to mail in a check, you may do so in the checkout process by selecting the "pay by check" option. Then when prompted to print the order, just print the order and mail in with your check. Printing your order will delete the items from your shopping cart.
Please do not ship your firearm. We will call for your firearm when we are ready to build it. This way you can still be shooting your firearm while you are waiting. Our shop will send for your firearm when we are ready for it and instruct you on the shipment process.
Please see our main custom pistolsmithing page for our backlog time. Once we have your firearm, the turnaround time is approximately 8 weeks for the completion of the custom work. If you order special finishes, you can expect an additional delay of 6 to 8 weeks, simply because we send your firearm to the finishing specialists for the services.
We will do a complete mechanical evaluation of your firearm before we start any work. If we find a problem that needs to be corrected, we will call you with an explanation of the problem and the cost to correct it. If you decide you do not want to continue with the custom work after the evaluation, there will be a charge plus return shipping, for the evaluation service.
Please do not order custom work with any other product from the web site. We will determine if we need a deposit when it comes time to work on your handgun. We need the custom work to come in on its own order for processing purposes.
