Services and Conditions of UseWhen you decide to have our shop perform custom work on your handgun, you must first send a list of the work you wish to have done and a 50% deposit. Use the web site to order your list of options, then upon checkout, put in the code CSTM to apply the 50% deposit to your order. Final payment is due upon completion, prior to shipping. We accept payment by Money Order, Certified Check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card. (See Credit Card Details at Bottom.) If you are going to have a Bar Sto barrel installed, you must include a full deposit on the barrel and 50% on the rest of the work. We'll order the barrel and it will be here by the time we're ready to do your gun. Do not ship your gun with the deposit. We'll call for the gun when we're ready to build it. This way you can still be shooting your handgun while you are waiting.
Once we receive your handgun, we will try to have it finished in 6-8 weeks, depending on what you are having done. However, you must always keep in mind that guns are mechanical, we are human and "Murphy" is alive and well! There are times when custom work takes longer that we estimate for a lot of different reasons. We ask that you please be patient. We want to do the best possible job for you and sometimes we just can't do it as fast as you or we would like.
To ship your gun, use UPS and/or FEDEX: You must request "Signature Required." Insure it for replacement value. When packing, be sure that it is well padded, especially around the sights. Use a very heavywalled pasteboard box. Include your name, phone number, and street address for return shipment because UPS cannot deliver to post office boxes. It is illegal for any one other than a licensed firearms dealer to ship a gun through the U.S. Mail system.

As we said before, we'll be happy to talk to you between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 am (Central Time), Monday through Thursday, about what options you want on your handgun.
If you choose to cancel your work order, 20% of the deposit will be retained to cover our administrative costs and parts purchased for you. The parts will be returned to you with the remaining balance of your deposit.

If you do not supply us with all of the information listed we will not be able to process the request and your work may be delayed.
Warranty on Parts:
Shipping / Handling Charges are Non-Refundable.
Return of Non-Defective Parts Subject to 20% Restocking Charge.
Returned Parts found to be defective in manufacturing by Cylinder & Slide, Inc. will be replaced at no charge to the customer.
Limited Lifetime Warranty on Certain C&S Parts:
This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to the following parts: C&S Light Speed Hammer, C&S Warp Speed Hammer, C&S Super match Commander Hammer, C&S Tactical Hammer, C&S Ultra Light Low Mass Sear, C&S Tactical Sear, C&S Ultra Match Disconnector, C&S Ultra Light Low Mass Disconnector, C&S tM 1911 Hammer Strut, C&S Ultimate Option Extractors, C&S Commander Style Hammer for Browning Hi Power and C&S Machined Sear for Browning Hi Power.
This Limited Lifetime Warranty is good to the origianl purchaser. This warranty will be void if any filing, stoning machining, vise or plier marks are evident on the part. Allowing any of our hammers to fall freely with out the slide being fully assembled and installed on the frame voids the Warranty on the hammer. To allow the hammer to fall in this manner can cause hammer breakage when the hammer strikes the frame instead of the slide. This will also damage your frame. We have provided you with the most reliable parts possible. However, they cannot withstand improper fitting. If you would like us to install your parts, call for pricing.
Any of the C&S parts purchased from another dealer and found to be defective, must be returned to the original place of purchase for refund or replacement.
