Frame / Trigger / Action Job

The Special Finishes that are offered below require that we send your pistol out to the shop that specializes in the type of finish you request. You must realize that the addition of a special finish to your custom handgun will add 6 to 8 weeks to the turnaround time. We have no way of giving you an exact time frame as each shop has a different backlog that changes frequently, just like ours does. We have found that after any of the special finishes is applied we have to re-tune the trigger jobs, re-fitting the closely fitted internal parts, and then test fire the pistol again for reliability. This additional work and test firing means additional charges. All pricing of special finishes does not include the shipping both ways.

Coating Technologies-that provides Electroless Nickel, NP3, NP3+, and ArmorLube cannot accept anodized aluminum or titanium frames. We also have to meet a minimum amount of work before we can ship to Coating Technologies, meaning that the time can vary before we can ship your project to Coating Technologies
